here is my imdb listing. waiting on clearance of “Good Morning Mr. Brown” to get put on there.  i had way too many roles on that film.  but take a look at it.

the triad area of north carolina has been heavily influenced by hispanic implants over the past 10 or so years.  mainly due to a large tobacco driven economy(which has now began to perish). some people frown at the influx of this race. the ol “they’re takin our jobs..” shit is definitely not too true.  they just work the jobs most of us collar sportin whiteys won’t man up and do. but they have brought many great things to our area.  in no other part of the east coast have i found authentic mexican restaurants that taste so damn good!  or that could just be the lack of my culture, but who cares, its good food.  also, a new found treasure… and damn’t if i didn’t forget the name of the place.  but its a hispanic bakery.  located on the finest of main streets in all of north carolina, that of kernersville.  april and i had heard of its fine pastries so we decided to drop in one day.  oooooo mmmm geeeee. what a spot we found.  amazing pastries and cakes for amazing prices!  i got this awesome pastry, bigger than a doughnut, that had a wedge cut into and then filled with creme. maaaan sooo good.  oh, and it was covered in powdered sugar for fucks sake!  and it was only 75 cents too! they have horizon’s organic milk but its still the same price as starbucks…  thats the new hot spot in k-vegas.  

voicemail is dead.  it sucks and i hate it.  i think i have like 12 messages on my phone right now, that i probably won’t listen to. so if you left me a message i’m sorry, i’m not gonna listen to it.  but hopefully we’ve communicated on the topic of your unanswered call.  just don’t leave a message.

years and years ago i used to ride at a skatepark called flipside(now known as the shithole of 915 skatepark). and on bike night a band would practice behind the mini ramp.  i don’t remember their name but i do remember they had a song for “North Carolina’s Southern Hero”, Jesse Helms.  it went something along the lines of “die jesse helms, die jesse die die!”.  well some 10 years later they got what they wanted.  

i don’t keep up with politics much, but to me, jesse helms stood for every backwoods uneducated whitey. he hated gays and was clearly a racist. but after reading a CL rants and rave it was pointed out that he eventually apologized for his remarks and beleifs on homo’s and blacks.  i’m sorry for the loss of life, but for some reason i doubt he’ll be missed.

however, April thinks he’s cute cause he looked like an owl.

so a couple of weeks ago april and i got real hooked on lost.  we started from season 1.  a couple of weekends, pretty much every evening, in the car, we watched it everywhere!  we finished it last night.  so many questions, such a crazy show.  we were so spoiled with having all 4 seasons at our disposal and now we’re with everyone else, waiting till 5.  which i think starts in Feb. of ‘09.  not fun.

one thing that would have driven me crazy was the writers strike.  imagine having to wait to who knows when for it to continue.  it was bad enough waiting for The Office, let alone what would be happening next on the island!

so i saw this behemoth of an airplane circling greensboro today. a quick phone call and i find out that the us air force are doing touch and go exercises at pti. so the tl88 and i haul ass out to the airport. a couple of turn arounds and manuevering through parking lots and i find myself in the back corner of the UPS lot awaiting the beasts decent. seeing such a huge aircraft come in for a landing is wild. its so friggin’ huge that it looks like its going like 10 miles an hour. i was actually standing on top of my car filming it and i could feel it shake as it touched down. only on the ground for a few seconds they gassed it and she was well on her way to the beautiful blue carolina skies. i was hoping they’d give a second pass so i snaked my way over to the other side of the airport, but no dice. the air monster was long gone.
