The trip that changed my life. 2002 I was working for PROPS video magazine. Marco called and said, “get your passport!”. So that I did. Went to Germany for about 3 weeks to cover a Redbull flatland comp and went on a sweet road trip with my buddies at country bikes. This is also when I got addicted to knoppers.

Karl was recently in town to film for the Eastern Video, The Death of Fun. So while in town we held on to some random filler clips and shot a little bike check interview for Vitalbmx.com. setup was in my backyard. tota in a box for key, prolight 150 for rim and shot a omni on his bike. shot with both hmc150 and d90. mostly hmc150 was for audio and backup image. used a 17-35/2.8 and 50/1.4 on the D90. audio wise, had countryman b6 lav under his shirt, pretty much used stick mic just for branding since vital has the new mic flags, wanted to put it to use.
